  1. Day 52

    February 21, 2012 by Nic

How smooth can a bassline get?

    Well this smooth apparently…

  2. Day 47

Using my acoustic bass for the first time to get the nice low ending sound.

Try to sing what you hear and you’ll get it for sure.

  3. Day 45

    February 14, 2012 by Nic

    Because everybody needs…

I don’t play piano that well to have played this so just to be clear, it’s a midi version I took from a guitar pro file. The bass is obviously played live.

  4. Day 44

    February 13, 2012 by Nic

One of my favourite bass lines ever!

    Ideal for a blue monday.

    Hope you enjoy it…

  5. Day 39

    February 8, 2012 by Nic

I grew up listening to this band and I can safely say that my bass playing was influenced by these guys.

There’s been great news today about the band and in particular the bass player so in honour of him I did this riff. Don’t mind the drums because they are just this generic drum pattern I used as guidance.

  6. Day 38

    February 7, 2012 by Nic

    A classic bassline for today.

It sounds a bit bluesy but it’s more glammy than that.

  7. Day 35

    February 4, 2012 by Nic

Mellow acoustic with some bass on top.

A bit more obscure than what you’ve been getting lately to make it a bit more challenging.

Maybe I’ll even surprise you with this song when you finally get to know the artist.

  8. Day 34

    February 3, 2012 by Nic

Just to start the weekend swinging!

And without doing it on purpose there is an obvious link between this one and the last one.

  9. Day 31

    January 31, 2012 by Nic

Again a classic although this one is a bit more underground than the last one.

You’ll probably have heard of this song but chances are you can’t quite get the title and/or artist.

But at least you can enjoy this great piece of music here ;)

  10. Day 26

    January 26, 2012 by Nic

Very prominent bass line in the song so this shouldn’t be too hard to guess.

Especially the part around the half minute mark should sound very familiar.
